The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize next month's bout.
Ex two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
