WThis is a home-style interpretation of a cocktail featured on a new drinks list. It's a party-sized pre-mixed which is bursting full of tastes of the holiday season, rendering it excellent for your holiday party. Reserve the remaining cordial to use in brunch beverages, desserts, or to mix another batch of this cocktail.

Yields 10 people
Ingredients for the Clementine Cordial (produces 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g fine sugar
Ingredients for the Drink (produces 850ml, to serve 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine syrup (as made above)
Whole cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Instructions
Making the Cordial: Put the listed ingredients into a pan, bring to a light boil, agitating so the sugar melts. After that, remove from the stove and let it to cool completely. Pour to a clean bottle, close it keeping it chilled, it can be stored for about one month.
To make Batch Mix: Combine the specified spirits and syrup in a big jug, leave to sit for one hour, then filter it , ideally through muslin, so it's perfectly clear.
For serving: Pour 85ml from the premix to a stirring glass containing ice, and agitate gently for a minute until cold. Filter to a chilled martini glass or a similar vessel, top with a few cranberries and complete it using a light spray of the essential oil over the top.
